We understand that unfortunate circumstances may occur or last minute plans may arise which may result in your child unable to attend their place.

All children attending the outdoor football sessions should dress comfortably. Active wear such as tracksuits and shorts are ideal. It's important to bear in mind that the clothing might get a bit messy, so please avoid having to bring a specific brand or name. Appropriate footwear is also essential; trainers are the most suitable. In addition, please take into account that football boots or studs are not allowed as we want everyone to have an enjoyable kick about as opposed to a competitive match., we also want to maintain the quality of our lovely grass pitch!
ALL children will need is:
Sacred Heart Pupils will need:
Non-Sacred Heart pupils attending 4pm while 5.15pm will not require a snack but will need a drink.
It is fundamental to our football club that all members are happy, comfortable and enjoying their experience at all times.
If at anytime we feel your child is unhappy or unwell we will make contact with you to express any concerns and discuss the appropriate course of action to take.
Our club is based on the ethos that children attend because they want to; not because they have to!
We do not want your children to view the club as a source of childcare for your purpose, it is so important that children are attending to develop new or hidden skills, socialise & create new friendships and have the opportunity to new or unique educational experiences.
Our club is a happy place where all should feel equal, comfortable, included and most importantly ... a part of the club!
All senior staff have been Paediatric first aid trained by Manchester First Aid Training.
If any accidents, injuries or emergencies should occur you will be notified immediately as soon as the situation has been assessed and actioned accordingly.
Minor accidents & injuries may be actioned with the use of a first aid kit and/or comfort techniques unless instructed otherwise.
Serious accidents or emergencies can result in the appropriate action of alerting the emergency services.
There will be no administration of medicines without written parental consent - this includes calpol or allergy relief.
After serious accident, in addition to parents, we are required to notify Ofsted and the relevant services as outlined in our Duty Of Care & Safeguarding Policy.
Coaching sessions will be held on the pitch owned & maintained by Sared Heart Catholic Primary School. The pitch/field is not on the same grounds as the school - you can find the pitch by walking directly passed the school entrance, safely cross the road towards the large metal gates surrounding the field and within 1 minute you will see (to your left) our banner and Coach Ben awaiting to begin the football club.
You are permited to leave your child for the coaching session; you are also welcome to stay for the duration and watch the coaching session (this is recommended for children who have never been left at a club before) however you must do so from behind the gated fence. Gates will be locked to ensure the safety of the children.
Coaching sessions begin at the stated times - please do not arrive too early or be late when collecting your child (See Uncollected Child policy for further details)
Permission for drop off and/or collection - We currently do not offer a service to collect or drop off your child, this is your responsibility.
Under 8's MUST be dropped off and collected by a parent or responsible family member. We do not let children leave with anyone who is not granted permission on the registration form. If you are allowing another team players parent or guardian to collect your child after the session we do require written permission from yourself prior the the booked session.
In the case of an emergency where you will require a relative or friend to collect your child we ask for a photo of the person or relative to formally ID the person upon collection of your child - this will be a requirement if your child does not recognise the nominated adult.
Children aged 8 years+ can walk to the club unsupervised and can walk home (with parental written permission) however we do prefer and strongly recommend that a responsible adult (parent, older sibling or relative) drops off and collects your child regardless of their age; to be safe and eliminate any risks. We can not take responsibility for your child if you give permission for them to walk home after the club session. If your child attempts to leave early or does not attend the session at all we will contact parents and emergency contacts from their registration record to make you aware.

We also record coaching sessions & particularly matches to give children the opportunity to watch and analyse themselves to help with progression & personal/team growth in their football skills.
